Gust Brothers Farm
We had such a wonderful time at the farm (& were lucky enough to have wonderful weather)!! I am so thankful for all the parents who were able to come and walk around with the kiddos! They absolutely LOVED the hayride, feeding the cows, and getting to pick their own pumpkin!
SylvanIA Firefighters
We were SO lucky to have the Sylvania Firefighters come visit our classroom! They showed the students their gear, talked about fire safety, and got to get in the firetruck! The kiddos amazed them with all of their knowledge!

Our eggs have arrived!
The time is finally here! We have been anxiously waiting on the arrival of our eggs! Today we watched them get put into their incubator (which will be their home for the next 21 days). The students were SO excited for them to arrive! We cannot wait to see them hatch into cute & fuzzy baby chicks! This week we are discussing different animals who lay eggs (not just chickens) and the incubation process (how our eggs will become chicks). Stay tuned for pictures of our chicks in the next month!
100th Day of school!
Ever wonder what your child will look like when they're 100 years old? We used a fun app on my phone and found out! We also enjoyed a fun filled day of 100 activities making fruit loop and bead necklaces, wearing our 100 hats, and doing some 100 day centers! We sure did have a blast! Hope you enjoy the pictures!
(For some reason not all would upload - will fix later)

Polar Bears
Last week we spent time discussing polar bears and their habitats! We investigated polar bear blubber, fur, families, and their diets! As an end to our week, we made polar bears and painted them with shaving cream and glue! Even though it was gooey to paint with, our polar bears had nice fluffy coats of fur!

Crazy Cute Turkeys!!
After two weeks of discussing turkeys and the Thanksgiving holiday, we ended our day with making turkey headbands! They loved learning all about the male and female turkey's and the parts of a turkey.
Austin said (as we were posing for a picture), "I never would have thought we would all turn into Thanksgiving dinner!!"
I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving!

FIELD trip to gus farms!!
We had an absolute BLAST at the farm!! The students enjoyed a hay ride, feeding and learning about animals, and picking out their pumpkins for home! We were also blessed with fantastic weather! A BIG thank you to all the parents who were able to come and help out!

Pumpkin Exploration!!
We were super excited today to cut open and explore the inside of pumpkins!! Some of our friends were a little nervous to touch the gooey insides! We were able to see how tall our pumpkins were with cubes, count the lines (ribs) of the pumpkin, color a picture of it, and count the seeds inside! We all had a blast exploring the pumpkins!
